Hello Everyone! It’s nice to meet you & I look forward to connecting & networking with you all! As for me, I was born & raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently I reside in the western suburbs of Chester County, PA. First & foremost, I am a mom of two young men. Unfortunately, one of my sons passed away on June 19, 2017 at the age of 22. Half of my heart resides in heaven while the other half is here on earth to keep me going & grateful. My younger son is currently in high school, plays lacrosse (long pole defense) & hockey (goalie). He also loves all genres of music, plays instruments (cello, trumpet, a little guitar), enjoys chess since the young age of three, just started drivin (oh boy!) & has already chosen his major, along with the colleges he plans to visit & hopefully attend in the future. Thankfully he’s thriving after losing his big brother at the age of 12. He is a Godsend & I am thankful every single day to have been blessed with him as well. While both of my son’s are my world, one of them is in heaven until my job here is done. God willing, we will all be reunited in Heaven someday. Until then, I will do my best to be a good human being & American, trying to make a difference in this crazy & unpredictable world of ours.

My school background began in Business Law but after a few years, I made the decision to switch to the field of Finance, Accounting, & Payroll. Growing up, my father was a Labor Law Contract Negotiator & VP for the International Union, AFL-CIO for BCTGM. He started with the union at age 16 at the cookie factory Keebler’s where he became active in the BCT union as a shop steward. He preached to me about having to “BE THE PEOPLE before YOU ARE FOR THE PEOPLE” in order to understand the needs of those he represented & helped. My mother was an Accounting major & her entire career was at the DOD as a contract purchaser of steel for the military. So my top two choices in college made sense to me, & definitely to them!

Currently I run a nonprofit foundation, 501(c)3, in Pennsylvania, established in August of 2017. It gives me great pleasure to help others in memory of my older son, Daniel Kyle, via scholarships, education, & financial assistance. Throughout the year we hold events to raise money with our largest event being our annual Fall golf outing. We rely solely on events & donations from amazing supporters. So far, we have been blessed to be able to give scholarships for colleges or a trade schools to 9 amazing young adults. We have been able to interact with our community, especially the kids, & help those with financial hardships, when/where needed.

Thank you for visiting my profile & a special thanks to Rick Nappier, the founder of Real People USA. He’s a passionate American who works hard daily to bring people together & provide channels for networking. Rick, I wish you a world of love, happiness, & success. You are a blessing to our country & I appreciate the opportunity to network with you & others in the near future.

The Daniel K. Wepryk Foundation was established in August 2017 to honor my son Danny’s life & keep his memory alive. It is a 501(c)3 Tax Deductible foundation that focuses on raising awareness of opioid addiction, educating our youth about the perils of drug use & enacting prevention programs in our community.

The foundation created a scholarship program at a few Downingtown Area School District High Schools. We will provide tuition assistance for graduating seniors each year, as well as a Downingtown East lacrosse player who demonstrates COURAGE, STRENGTH & HOPE. These three pillars are important to our foundation because they represent the qualities that Danny lived every day of his young life.

As a young man in recovery, Danny relied on COURAGE, STRENGTH, AND HOPE to get through each day. The foundation will have the COURAGE to talk about opioid addiction, the STRENGTH to help those in need & the HOPE that we can impact others in our community. Our goal is to be a resource for our community, as well as, provide financial assistance where needed.
